Madrid: Despite Spain’s immigration process being open, three Nepali nationals have been fined approximately €1,000 each by the National Police for working without valid authorization.
According to available information, the individuals were detained during a routine inspection at a workplace in Spain, where they were found working without the required legal documents. Police stated that although the immigration process is currently open, the individuals were engaged in employment without valid work permits.
After completing legal procedures, the National Police imposed financial penalties of around €1,000 per person. Further investigations are ongoing regarding their legal status and any subsequent procedures.
This incident has served as a warning to immigrants living in Spain not to engage in employment without proper legal documents and work permits. Authorities have emphasized that even if immigration procedures are open, compliance with the law remains mandatory and have urged all immigrants to proceed in accordance with regulations.
