Kathmandu, Nepal – The Nepal Insurance Authority has directed all insurance companies to fully resume regular office operations, effective today. The directive comes as the authority observes a return to normalcy across the country following days of civil unrest.
With curfews and prohibitory orders now easing, the Authority has urged all insurance companies and their branch offices to operate at full capacity. This move is intended to facilitate the swift handling of public business as the nation recovers from recent disruptions.
The directive follows a previous order from the Authority to all insurance providers, instructing them to prioritise and expedite the processing of claims for damages sustained during the protests and demonstrations on September 8 and 9.
