Nepal embassy conducts mobile Consular Camp in Scotland

Glasgow – The Embassy of Nepal in London has organised a mobile consular camp in Glasgow, Scotland.

The camp was held on Monday at the Pashupati Nath Temple in Glasgow in collaboration  with Non Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Scotland.

A total of 82 members of the local Nepali community benefited from various services provided during the mobile camp. Services such as passport renewal, tourist visa processing, and attestation of documents (including wareshnama) were provided through the mobile desk.

On the occasion, Acting Nepali Ambassador to the UK, Bipin Dhuwadi, reaffirmed the Embassy’s commitment to continuing such mobile consular services in the future. He also thanked NRNA Scotland and members of the Nepali community for their active support and  coordination.

Nepalis from different cities across Scotland, including Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Ayr, and Dundee, travelled to Glasgow to take advantage of the services.

President of NRNA Scotland, Sher KC, thanked the Embassy staff for their cooperation and services and requested that such camps be conducted regularly.

General Secretary of NRNA Scotland, Madhav Bhandari, thanked the Embassy team—including Acting Ambassador Duwadi—and suggested that such services be included permanently in the Embassy’s annual calendar. He also expressed gratitude to the State Coordination Council team, advisors, participants, and supporters who contributed to the success of the event.
