I arrived in the UK in the 1980s and have since been deeply committed to serving the Nepali community. As one of the first Pandits in the UK, I have performed countless religious ceremonies and rituals, including a distinguished pooja for the late Queen Aishwarya of Nepal. My dedication to community service extends beyond religious duties—I have held key positions in various Nepali organisations, notably serving as President of the Yeti Nepali Association, one of the earliest Nepali organisations established abroad, and as the founding Secretary of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA). My lifelong commitment has always been rooted in preserving our cultural heritage and supporting the Nepali diaspora in the UK.
